GRAPE VARIETY: 100 % Melnik (Broad-leaved Melnik)
TERROIR: The vineyard parcels planted with Shiroka Melnishka Loza are located in the land of the village of Harsovo, where the climate is warm. Yet, thanks to the air currents arriving from the Aegean Sea and the cooler night flows descending from the surrounding mountains, the area maintains significant day–night temperature amplitudes. The vines are more than 50 years old, rooted in sandy, permeable soils that allow for excellent drainage. In the cultivation of these vineyards, biodynamic practices are carefully followed.
WINE: Beautiful pink color. Aroma of strawberry with a slight candy nuance. Elegant body, delicate, with ripe red fruit flavours. Freshness in the finish. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand in early September. Fermented in a stainless steel vat.

This has a slightly reductive nose of cherries, plums and raspberries with nice brightness. Dry and focused with nice fruit, made in a taut style. 90/100
