Varieties: 70% Melnik, 30% Pinot Noir
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the regions of Harsovo and Kromidovo, Melnik, where the soils are heavy, reddish-brown with a high iron content. The climate is characterized by high daytime temperatures and cool air currents in the evening, descending from the surrounding mountains. The Wide Melnik vines are about 50 years old, and the variety is endemic to the Sandanski region. Pinot Noir comes from vineyards near Kavarna, close to the Black Sea, where the constant sea breezes ensure the freshness of the grapes. Biodynamic practices are applied in the vineyards.
Wine: Hand-harvested, each variety separately. Fermentation in separate containers. The Wide Melnik ages in oak barrels for one year. Blending. Limited series of 8800 bottles.

Juicy and bright with nice freshness. Tart with sour cherry and raspberry notes. Bright and focused with good acidity. This has a brightness to it. Very expressive with a hint of pepper, too. 93/100
