An Architectural Tour with Architect Zhana Stoilova (WhATA) and Curators Vesela Nozharova & Veselina Sarieva

On March 7, AYA Estate Vineyards presents the second edition of AYA Art Series - an expanded tour focused on architecture, its dialogue with art, and a curated wine tasting.

The format naturally builds upon the beginning of AYA Art Series, continuing to share the philosophy of AYA with both cultural and professional audiences.

AYA Estate Vineyards is a visionary project conceived and realized as both a winery and a gallery - a place where architecture, art, and wine exist in an organic relationship.

Designed by the architectural studio WhATA, the building is often described as “the invisible building” - embedded in the hillside, with a grass-covered roof and a façade that mirrors the landscape, revealing itself gradually.

The architectural tour is conceived as a narrative unfolding through the space itself — from the earliest ideas and the design process, through the artistic interventions within the building, to the connection between architecture, terroir, and winemaking.

Led by architect Zhana Stoilova from the WhATA team, together with curators Vesela Nozharova and Veselina Sarieva, the tour traces the decisions and details that remain unread from the road.

“AYA’s architecture was conceived as an architectural terroir — an environment where nature, wine, and art work together.
The building is not placed into the landscape, but emerges from it — from the terrain, from local tradition, and from the way wine is created,”
says architect Zhana Stoilova of WhATA.

During the tour, visitors will explore how the land shapes form, light, and movement within the building, how architecture enables the gravitational principle of winemaking, and how art is integrated as a natural part of the space.

The experience also includes a wine tasting featuring selected wines from AYA Estate Vineyards.

Participation in the architectural tour is ticketed, with the format intentionally limited to small groups in order to preserve the quality of the experience and allow time for conversation, reflection, and deeper exchange throughout the visit.
