AYA Awakening – Woven with the Roots

11:30 – Ritual Pruning of the Vines
A sacred and ceremonial gesture toward the earth and tradition, marking the beginning of a new life cycle.

12:30 – DJ Set
Enriched by the artistic presence of the performers from Pole Dance Bulgaria.

13:30 – 15:00 – Live Music
An atmosphere only live performance can create – emotion, rhythm, and a refined festive energy.

Throughout the day, guests are invited to enjoy wine samplings and guided tours of the winery in groups of up to 20 people. Each tour lasts approximately 25 minutes and is free of charge.
The starting point of each tour will be marked with a sign for easy orientation. A carefully selected DJ set will provide an elegant musical backdrop and a sense of celebration.

How to continue the celebration? | Zornitza Family Estate – Bistro 55
For those who wish to extend the day with taste and elegance, Bistro 55 offers a special lunch, “Cooking with Wine” – a culinary experience inspired by tradition and paired with selected wines. The lunch is available with prior reservation via the reception desk of Zornitza Family Estate.

“Awakening at AYA – Woven with the Roots” is part of the Open Doors Days of the wineries in the Struma Valley – 13–15.02.2026.
Held around the feast of St. Trifon Zarezan, this traditional event brings together wine lovers from Bulgaria and abroad every year. Wineries across the region open their doors, offer tastings, and symbolically recreate the ritual of pruning the vines.

During the Open Doors Days of the Wineries in the Struma Valley (13–15 February), we will welcome you with a well-structured program and complimentary shuttle transport, organized by the municipalities of Melnik, Sandanski and Strumyani, running from Sandanski to the wineries in the region.

If you choose to travel by car, we recommend the route via Melnik – Vinogradi, which is usually calmer and with lighter traffic, guiding you smoothly towards Aya.
