Early Melnik Vine is a cross between Melnik (also known as Broad- leaved Melnik Vine) and the French variety Valdiguie. It is unique and typical for the small southwestern corner of Bulgaria, where the country borders with Greece and Northern Macedonia. Intense ruby color, and well-defined aroma of ripe cherries and blackberries, combined with a touch of spiciness and tobacco leaf accent. An excellent medium bodied wine, whose chocolate and toasty flavours delicately transition into red fruits. Well structured tannins and a delicate and fresh finish.

VINIFICATION
Hand harvest at the beginning of October, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 8- months of barrel ageing of part of the wine in old French barriques.

Pairs well with roasted red meat, grilled eggplant, bell peppers and cheese based dishes.
