A rich but elegant wine of pure Chardonnay aged for 6 months in Acacia barrels. It has a nice freshness, good volume and mouthful with a smooth buttery feeling. A perfect partner for hard cheese plates, seafood and white meat dishes but it would also work well if consumed alone thanks to its complex bouquet aromas

Terroir: The vineyards of 2.9 ha are located close to the Black Sea coast in the municipality of the town of Kavarna and are grown organically, following the biodynamic practices. The work is exclusively manual, which allows strict monitoring and quality control. The climate is dominated by the constant breezes which have a very beneficial effect on the vineyards, protecting the grapes from the sharp rise in sugars and helping to keep the acidity in excellent condition.
The harvest is done in the last days of August when the desired technological and taste qualities of the fruit are reached. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at relatively low temperatures, in order to preserve the varietal character of the wine. After its completion, it matures on the fine lees for a more complex profile. Part of the wine is aged for half a year in untoasted acacia barrels with periodically performed battonage. Colorito Chardonnay is a limited series of 2126 bottles.
The color is straw yellow, which is the result of ageing. The aroma is dominated by white floral tones with slightly perceptible tropical notes. The wine has a rich taste, with citrus freshness and pleasant volume. The delicate shades of white stone and tropical fruits turn into pleasant creamy tones, the result of ageing on the fine lees. In the end, the minerality characteristic of the terroir is revealed.
Amazing summer drink and pleasant accompaniment to salads, seafood dishes and light white meats. It would go well with foods containing creamy or yogurt dressings, as well as with different types of pasta. It can also be consumed with soft cheeses, thanks to its pleasant complex and rich profile.
