A rich wine with nice velvety tannin structure and dark red colour with violet nuances. The finish brings a slight smokey feeling and delicately opens the peppery herbal nuances typical for the Syrah. Red meats, game and barbecue are the best way to enjoy the wine, but also soft cheeses and grilled vegetables could be a very good choice.

The soils are sandy with a low humus content and have a typical for the region yellowish colour. The vines are cultivated by observing biodynamic practices in viticulture with the aim to stimulate the growth of their roots. The work in the vineyards is performed mostly by hand with allows strict and precise control of the quality. The climate is warm with constant breezes blowing from the Aegean Sea and a high diurnal variation due to the cooling winds descending from the surrounding mountains - Slavyanka, Belasica and Pirin. This Mediterranean impact resultsin minimal rainsin August and maximalshortly after harvest - in October, November.
Grapes are picked up by hand and the fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks. Part of the wine is aged in French oak barrels first and second fill for 6-8 months. This combination helps with the formation of the specific and fascinating profile of the final blend.
The colour is dark red with violet nuances typical for the Syrah variety. The aroma has nice picante tones, combined with some fruits - plums, black cherry and dark forest fruits. In the mouth the wine is rich with a nice velvety tannin structure and the finish brings a slight smokey feeling. The aftertaste is long and remembered.
Rich dishes are a perfect combination for the luscious character of the wine. Red meats, game and barbecue are the best way to enjoy it, but soft cheeses and grilled vegetables could be a splendid choice for vegetarians.
