The colour is dark red with light purple nuances and the aroma is complex with fruity notes of raspberries and plum. The velvety tannins are well integrated thanks to a year ageing in French oak barrels and are perfectly supported by the juicy acidity. Pair with roasted meats, with or without sauces, spicy dishes or soft cheeses like Camembert, Feta and Goat cheese.

Terroir: The vineyard – 1,1ha - is located оn the hilly terrain surrounding the highly prized village of Harsovo in the Sandanski municipality. The average age of the vines is nearly 30 years and it is cultivated by strictly following the biodynamic practices in the viticulture. The deep roots of the vines supply them with a wide spectrum of mineral substances and micro elements which influence and enhance the complex structure of the wine. The climate is warm with constant breezes from the Aegean Sea and high diurnal variation due to the cooling winds descending from the surrounding mountains - Slavyanka, Belasica and Pirin. Vinification
The harvest is done by hand during the second half of September and the selection starts in the vineyard. The fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks after which the wine ages for one year in 400l new oak French barrels, first and second fill. Disegno is a very limited series of 96 magnum bottles and 850 bottles of 0,75l.

The same flavours come in the mouth, where, additionally, more notes of red forest fruits stand out. The tannin structure is quite powerful, and the wine has a full body and a long finish. The wine also has excellent ageing potential.
